Following the elections on 2 May 2013, there are two vacancies to be filled on Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Council; one is to represent Grove Ward, the other to represent Magdalene Ward. Councillors will serve until the next election in May 2017.

There is a drop-in session from 3.30 to 7 pm on Tuesday 11 June at St Mary's School. Find out about BBH plans for the Three Fields area, and also ask about welfare reform, ownership options etc. There will also be a local councillor on hand to welcome ideas from residents about any problems
Deliveries to start again at Berwick Maternity Unit

Low risk women will soon be able to deliver their babies at the Berwick Maternity Unit.
This follows a decision by the Joint Locality Executive Board of NHS Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) that the model of care should be a unit open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Northumberland Development Company Purchase Berwick’s Cowe Buildings

Cowe buildings in Bridge Street to be repaired and restored.
Arch, the Northumberland Development Company, has purchased the Cowe buildings on Bridge Street, Berwick upon Tweed.
The properties, owned for generations by the Cowe family, include the original Berwick Cockle Shop
Berwick's New Hoppa Service

Berwick's new Hoppa service is due to start on Thursday 30 May, and will offer a hail and ride bus service from the top to the bottom of the town centre, including Marygate and Bridge Street.
Funded by the Town Council, with help from a grant from the Community Transport Get Going
