Statement regarding new Town Clerk

"The new Town Clerk of Berwick upon Tweed, Gareth Davies, has started work at the council's offices in Marygate.
Mr Davies spent six months as interim clerk to Berwick upon Tweed Town Council, and is looking forward to the challenges of the permanent role. He previously worked in local government for nine years, after a previous career in the private and voluntary sectors.
A graduate of Durham University who has also studied at Cardiff and Northumbria universities, Mr Davies is a keen cyclist and guitar player."
