Meg's Mount Footpath

Northumberland County Council's Countryside section will be undertaking work to improve the path surface and handrail on the Meg's Mount footpath (Berwick Town Public Footpath No. 49) commencing Monday, 27th February, 2017. The footpath will be legally closed from both Tweed Street and Castlegate to the bottom of the steps on to the New Road (opposite Berwick Amateur Rowing Club building) for the duration of the works, which are expected to be completed within five to six weeks, conditions permitting, there will be signage on site.
