Plenty of work has taken place recently at Flagstaff Park. The new arches at either end of the rose garden have been designed, made and put in place by Michael Lee of Tweedmouth, while Northumberland County Council's NEAT Team has been busy digging the flower beds ready for planting new low-maintenance shrubs and herbaceous plants. This is all part of the Town Council's improvements to the gardens to mark the Diamond Jubilee.
