Olympic Torch Relay in Berwick-upon-Tweed

LONDON 2012 IN NORTHUMBERLAND
The route for the Olympic Torch has been announced passing through Berwick-upon-Tweed on the 14th June 2012.
Berwick to Alnwick via Bamburgh
The Olympic Torch will cross from Scotland into England, entering Northumberland via the Scottish Border and arrive in Berwick upon Tweed during the afternoon of 14th June. The route followed will be identified on street level maps for each location the torch passes through.
Berwick upon Tweed
Arrival time at Berwick upon Tweed is 4.30 pm, the convoy shall travel in torch bearer mode along the A1167 past Morrisons, along the North Road into Berwick Town Centre and across the Royal Tweed Bridge continuing into Tweedmouth along Prince Edward Road, Main Street and Northumberland Road. The convoy shall leave the town at 5.10pm on the A1167
Bamburgh
Arrival time at Bamburgh is 5.55 pm the convoy shall enter the village from the B1342 along Radcliffe Road travelling down to the Castle and returning to the village to exit via the B1341, Front Street at 6.26pm.
Alnwick
Arrival time at Alnwick is 6.58pm, the convoy shall enter along Denwick Lane pass through the Bondgate Tower and arrive on stage at the Pastures at 7.20pm in time for the evening celebration Northumberland Torch Evening Celebratio - The Pastures, Alnwick For further information on Alnwick Torch
