Duchess re-opens Berwick’s refurbished parks.

The Duchess of Northumberland has officially re-opened Berwick's Castle Vale and Coronation Parks, following a one million pound Heritage Lottery Funded facelift.
The project, the idea for which originated at a Town Council meeting on 19 August 2010, has taken almost exactly four years to reach completion, with input from the Town and County Councils and local volunteers and residents' groups.
