Follow-up to Town Meeting

Residents who attended the Town Meeting in April produced over 80 ideas for ways of improving their local areas. The Town Council and Groundwork have sifted through these suggestions to sort out which might need to be passed on to other organisations, and which could be looked at in more detail to see how they might be delivered. The ideas were wide-ranging, from health issues to play facilities, to how to give a lift to some of the buildings in Berwick’s historic centre. A follow-up meeting will be held on 27 July at 6 pm in the Town Hall, when those who might be in a position to help deliver some of these ideas, will be present. Everyone is invited to attend , whether or not they attended the meeting on 19 April.
