VACANCY - TOWN WARDEN

Full Time - 37 hours per week

(Hours of Work - As required Monday to Friday but there is a requirement for weekend work on a rota basis and/or a standby arrangement as required)

Salary – (SCP Range 3 - 6) £24,027 - £25,183 plus generous annual leave and membership of NEST pension scheme

Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Council has a vacancy for a full time Town Warden. This is an exciting time to join the team as the Council strives to be a forward-thinking and outward-looking organisation working with and being accountable to the citizens of Berwick, Spittal and Tweedmouth to bring about positive change.

The Council is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join the team of Wardens maintaining Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Council’s assets across the town. Day to day duties include, grass cutting, watering, weeding, jet washing, basic joinery, painting. Horticultural/Joinery/Painting Experience is preferred, but not necessary as full training will be given.

Full UK driving licence is required or to be completed withing 6-months of starting work.
